The Church Charity
Shop opened in The Coach House in The Pallant in
September 1975 when the Rector, Canon Derek Brown, asked
Edna Gomersall if she could run a shop there. It
has been thriving ever since. Edna retired in
November 2005 after running the shop for over 30 years.
A consortium of
helpers now runs the shop which contributes greatly to
the Church funds. More helpers are always
required. If you can help for a few hours a week,

Should you be unable
to help, then why not pop in and pick up a bargain or
two. You can always be assured of a warm welcome.
The charity shop
usually opens for five five-weekly sessions in the year,
with the other weeks hired out to other charities. |
